Consider approving an Ordinance pertaining to Buildings, Housing and Construction by amending Section 6-5-1-507, Article 6-5-1, Division 6-5, Chapter 6, Lawton City Code, 2015, by creating the requirement to issue Property Maintenance violation letters to perspective dilapidated properties, allowing for building permits to be issued after notice is given for a potential dilapidated property, making the requirement that if a permit is pulled prior to the property being declared dilapidated, the permit expiration date will change to 90 days after issuance if Council declares it dilapidated, providing for severability, and establishing an effective date.
