Consider approving an Ordinance pertaining to Building, Construction and Housing by re-titling Article 6-6, creating Sections 6-6-2-601 through 6-6-2-608, Division 6-6-2, Article 6-6, Chapter 6, Lawton City Code, 2015; by adding sign contractors to the title of the article , adding the requirement for sign contractors to be licensed to operate in town, the requirement for the licenses, the fees for the licenses, adding the expirations date of the licenses, the bond requirements, the insurance requirements, why the license can be revoked and when a sign contractor license is not required to install a sign, providing for severability, providing for codification and establishing an effective date.
