Agenda — 12 items

1. Approve a service agreement with The Metropolitan Environmental Trust (M.E.T.) providing for public education, household hazardous waste disposal, and related services for the City of Jenks; setting terms of agreement, termination, compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, and authorizing the Jenks Public Works Authority to make payment of $22,000 within the FY 26-27 Budget to the M.E.T. for the cost of said services through June 30, 2027.
2. Ordinance 1692, related to JZ 26-702 which is a request for a zone change from AG (Agriculture) to RS-1 (Residential) at 11607 S 5th St; repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith; and providing for severability.
3. Ordinance 1693, related to JZ 26-704 which is a request for a zone change from AG (Agriculture) to RS-1 (Residential) at 11623 S 5th St; repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith; and providing for severability.
4. Ordinance 1691, related to JZ 26-703 which is a request for a zone change from RS-1 (Residential) to RD (Residential Duplex) at 822 N Birch Pl; repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith; and providing for severability.
5. Emergency Clause for Ordinance 1694, making it effective immediately upon passage since the immediate operations of the provisions of the Ordinance are necessary for the preservation of public health and safety.
6. Approve minutes of the regular meeting held on August 04, 2026.
7. Approve minutes of the special meeting held on July 31, 2026.
8. Ordinance 1694, amending the following articles of Chapter 16 of the Jenks City Code, known as the Jenks Unified Development Ordinance: Article 3 – Base District Specific Standards, Article 6 – Development Standards, Article 7 – Sign Standards, and Article 8 – Subdivision Standards; repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith; and providing for severability.
9. Approve request by Jenks Chamber of Commerce to use Jenks streets from 3:00 AM on 11/20/26 until 3:00 PM on 11/21/26 for the 2026 Lights On event.
10. Approve request by Jenks Chamber of Commerce to use Jenks streets from 3:00 AM until 10:30 PM on 10/23/26 for the 2026 Symphony and Sweets event.
11. Approve request by Jenks Chamber of Commerce to use Jenks streets from 3:00 AM on 11/20/26 until 5:00 PM on 11/21/26 for the 2026 Christmas Parade event.
12. Consideration and appropriate action relating to a request for approval of the Consent Agenda. (All matters listed under “Consent” are considered by the City Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. Any Councilor may, however, remove an item from the Consent Agenda by request. A motion to adopt the Consent Agenda is non-debatable.)
