Discussion and possible action regarding the Sheriff's Office request for authorization to submit an application for the 2026 Sheriff Assistance Grant (SAG) program. If awarded, grant funding will be utilized to purchase sixty (60) body-worn cameras and twenty-eight (28) Tasers. The equipment will support law enforcement operations by enhancing officer safety. Approval of this item will authorize the Sheriff's Office to complete and submit all necessary grant application documents for funding consideration.
