- DRAFT # 2ORDINANCE NO. 025-2026 (Adm. & Fin Mgmt –1st Reading- SUSP & ADOPT 04-07-2026 –Elmore/ ) AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($260,000.00) FROM UNAPPROPRIATED MONIES IN THE WMPITIE FUND (279) TO THE HAMILTON-BROAD INCENTIVE 90-117 EXPENSE ACCOUNT (279.000.50004). <br> <br>WHEREAS, the City of Whitehall is responsible for any change order overages incurred on the ODOT Broad & Hamilton Intersection Improvement Project; and<br> <br>WHEREAS, once the project has closed out, ODOT will reconcile the account and use up federal funds towards any outstanding balance; <br> <br>WHEREAS, the City of Whitehall may be reimbursed at the close-out of the project for any City funds paid up front; NOW, THEREFORE,<br> <br> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHITEHALL, OHIO:<br> <br><u>SECTION 1:</u> The Council of the City of Whitehall, Ohio authorizes and approves a supplemental appropriation in the amount of two hundred sixty thousand and 00/100 dollars ($260,000.00) from unappropriated monies in the WMPITIE Fund (279) to the Hamilton-Broad Incentive 90-117 Expense Account (279.000.50004) SECTION 2: That the City Auditor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of the City for these funds for the purpose stated. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall go into full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. - DRAFT # 1ORDINANCE NO. 024-2026 (Adm. & Fin Mgmt –1st Reading- SUSP & ADOPT 04-07-2026 –Elmore/ ) AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION TRANSFER IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND AND NO/DOLLARS ($24,000.00) FROM APPROPRIATED MONIES IN THE SERVICE ADMIN ASST 1 ACCOUNT (101.600.51200) TO SERVICE ADMIN ASST 2 ACCOUNT (101.600.51650) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City separated the service administrative assistant salary accounts when the Service Department planned to have two part-time employees in 2026; and, WHEREAS, the Service Department has reverted back to one full-time service administrative assistant; and, WHEREAS, the funds need to be transferred into one account for payroll to administer salaries; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHITEHALL, OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Council of the City of Whitehall, Ohio authorizes and approves the following appropriation transfer in the total amount of twenty-four thousand and no/dollars ($24,000.00). <br> <br><u>From</u> <u>Amount</u> <u>To</u><br>101.600.51200 Service Admin Asst 1 $24,000.00 101.600.51650 Service Admin Asst 2<br> <br><u>SECTION 2</u>: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare and for the further reason that is necessary to have the monies available to pay these expenses in order to keep the building serviceable and open; WHEREFORE, This Ordinance shall go into full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
