780 Boston Mills Road Detached Garage (18 ft x 20 ft) Submitted by James Galloway a) The Architectural Design Standards state “enclosed accessory buildings shall incorporate some elements similar to the main body, for example similar corner boards, window types, or materials.” Staff notes the building would have metal siding and a metal roof while the existing house and existing garage are vinyl sided with shingled roofs. b) The Land Development Code requires the proposed garage to have a minimum 5 ft separation from any other structure. Revise the site plan to meet this requirement.
