To authorize the Director of Public Utilities to enter into a contract modification for the Construction Administration and Inspection Services 2026-2028 contract with Hatch Associates Consultants, Inc. for the Velma Avenue Area Water Line Improvements project and for the Construction Administration Services 2026 to 2028 project to add additional funding; to authorize the Director of Public Utilities to apply for and accept a loan from the Ohio Water Development Authority Direct Loan Program for the Youngs Drive Area Water Line Improvements project; to appropriate funds within the Water - Fresh Water Market Rate Fund; to amend the 2025 Capital Improvement Budget; to authorize a transfer of cash and appropriation between projects within the Water Bond Fund; to authorize the appropriation and expenditure of up to $1,300,000.00 from the Water - Fresh Water Market Rate Fund and an expenditure of up to $75,000.00 from the Water Bond Fund for the contract; and to make this ordinance contingent upon the Ohio Water Development Authority approving a loan for the project.
