ORDINANCE submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 9/23/2026, ESTABLISHING new capital improvement program project account no. 980x233x272319, “HAM-SR 125-1.85 (PID 121004) Grant,” to provide resources for rehabilitating a portion of Beechmont Avenue (State Route 125) in the Mt. Washington neighborhood from the south corporation line to Elstun Road, also known as the HAM-SR 125-1.85 Urban Paving Project; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept and appropriate a grant of up to $1,066,148.80 from the Federal Highway Administration (ALN 20.205), administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation (“ODOT”), to newly created capital improvement program project account no. 980x233x272319, “HAM-SR 125-1.85 (PID 121004) Grant,” to provide grant resources for the HAM-SR 125-1.85 Urban Paving Project (PID 121004); AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit the grant resources into newly created capital improvement program project account no. 980x233x272319, “HAM-SR 125-1.85 (PID 121004) Grant”; and AUTHORIZING the City Manager to enter into a Local Public Agency agreement with ODOT and to do all things necessary and proper to cooperate with the Director of ODOT to complete the HAM-SR 125-1.85 Urban Paving Project (PID 121004).
