ORDINANCE (EMERGENCY), submitted by Vice Mayor Kearney and Councilmembers Albi, James, Jeffreys, Johnson, Nolan, Owens and Walsh, from Erica E. Faaborg, Deputy Solicitor, AUTHORIZING the transfer of $1,000,000 from General Fund balance sheet reserve account no. 050x2580, “Reserve for Weather Events, Other Emergency and One-Time Needs,” to the unappropriated surplus of General Fund 050; AUTHORIZING the transfer and appropriation of $1,000,000 from the unappropriated surplus of General Fund 050 to the Department of Opportunity and Resident Services General Fund non-personnel operating budget account no. 050x161x7400 to provide one-time resources for supplemental emergency floor relief; and DECLARING such expenditure to serve a public purpose.
