ORDINANCE (EMERGENCY) submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 6/3/2026, AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept and appropriate $10,925,956 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Program (ALN 14.218) to various newly established Community Development Block Grant Fund 304 project accounts, in accordance with the attached Appropriation Schedule and in accordance with the 2026 Annual Action Plan, to fund projects and operating allocations for the CDBG Program; ANNOUNCING the City’s intent to use said sums for projects and operating allocations for the CDBG Program in accordance with the 2026 Annual Action Plan, and the attached Appropriation Schedule, and to file the 2026 Annual Action Plan; and AUTHORIZING the City Manager to file the 2026 Annual Action Plan.
