ORDINANCE submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 12/3/2025, ESTABLISHING new capital improvement program project account no. 980x203x262053, “Thousand Hands Playground Replacement,” to provide resources for the replacement of the Thousand Hands Playground located at Sawyer Point; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept an insurance settlement payment of $125,000 from Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company to Sawyer Point Fund 318 for the loss of the Thousand Hands Playground that occurred on November 1, 2024; AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit the insurance settlement payment into Sawyer Point Fund revenue account no. 318x8939; and AUTHORIZING the transfer and appropriation of $125,000 from the unappropriated surplus of Sawyer Point Fund 318 to newly established capital improvement program project account no. 980x203x262053, “Thousand Hands Playground Replacement,” for the replacement of the Thousand Hands Playground located at Sawyer Point.
