ORDINANCE (EMERGENCY) submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 11/6/2024, AUTHORIZING the City Manager and employees of the Cincinnati Police Department to solicit and accept donations of money, in-kind contributions, and other things of value from the Cincinnati business community, individual benefactors, entertainment industries, and other available sources for the Victims Assistance Liaison Unit/Cincinnati Citizens Respect Our Witnesses to provide food and gift cards to the surviving families of homicide victims during the upcoming holiday season; and AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit funds donated to the City of Cincinnati into Public Safety Special Projects Fund 456.
