Long, City Manager, on 8/5/2024, AUTHORIZING the City Manager to apply for grant resources of up to $1,000,000 from the Federal Transit Administration Transit-Oriented Development Planning Pilot Program Grant (ALN 20.500) to provide resources to study the planned Reading Road Bus Rapid Transit Corridor from Downtown to the Roselawn neighborhood and provide recommendations for transit-oriented development, including strategies to retain and create affordable housing, encourage multimodal connectivity, and support local and minority businesses.
