Long, City Manager, on 2/7/2024, ESTABLISHING new capital improvement program project account no. 980x236x242385, “Streetcar Track 5 Extension - OTP2 Grant,” to provide resources for additional streetcar vehicle parking; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept a grant of up to $975,000 from the Ohio Department of Transportation Ohio Transit Partnership Program (“OTP2”) (ALN 20.205) to provide resources for preventative maintenance, equipment, and facility and technology upgrades for the streetcar system; AUTHORIZING the appropriation of up to $900,000 in OTP2 grant resources to newly established capital improvement program project account no. 980x236x242385, “Streetcar Track 5 Extension - OTP2 Grant”; AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit up to $900,000 in OTP2 grant resources into capital improvement program project account no. 980x236x242385, “Streetcar Track 5 Extension - OTP2 Grant”; AUTHORIZING the appropriation of up to $75,000 in OTP2 grant resources to Streetcar Operations Fund non-personnel operating budget account no. 455x236x7200 to provide streetcar preventative maintenance support; AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit up to $75,000 in OTP2 grant resources into Streetcar Operations Fund 455 revenue account no. 455x8554; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept and appropriate grant resources of up to $272,136 from the Federal Transit Administration Urbanized Area Formula Funding (“FTA UAFF”) program (49 U.S.C. 5307) (ALN 20.507) to Streetcar Operations Fund non-personnel operating budget account no. 455x236x7200 to provide resources for streetcar preventative maintenance support; AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit up to $272,136 in FTA UAFF grant resources into Streetcar Operations Fund 455 revenue account no. 455x8554; and AUTHORIZING the City Manager to enter into any agreements necessary for the receipt and administration of these grant resources.
