RESOLUTION, submitted by Councilmember Mann from Paula Boggs Muething, City Solicitor, EXPRESSING City Council’s support for Ohio Senate Bill 21 which would allow Ohio corporations to become “Benefit Corporations” or “B corporations,” a type of for-profit corporation, for which the legally defined goals of “the best interest of the corporation,” in addition to achieving profits, expressly includes the corporation’s positive impact on our society, its employees, the community, and the environment.
