RESOLUTION, submitted by Paula Boggs Muething, City Solicitor, URGING the United States Senate to immediately return to session to vote on universal background checks on gun sales, which the United States House of Representatives has already done by passing H.R. 8, in order to ensure that the American people, including every surviving victim of gun violence, will know that their federal government is finally willing to protect them from this constant onslaught of gun violence.
