Conduct a public hearing; approve, adopt, and authorize the Chair to sign an ordinance amending Title 22, Chapter 22.16, of the Clark County Code by deleting Chapter 22.16 in its entirety and adopting a new Chapter 22.16 entitled "Amusement Ride and People Mover Code" to adopt and incorporate nationally recognized standards governing the design, manufacturing, operation, testing, maintenance, inspection, quality assurance, and classification of injuries, update and modernize regulatory provisions; and establish enforcement provisions and penalties; and provide for other matters properly relating thereto.
