Conduct a public hearing to receive objections from the public concerning the granting of a telecommunications franchise to MCI Communications Services LLC d/b/a Verizon Business Services to provide telecommunication services in certain unincorporated areas of Clark County; and to approve and authorize the Chair to sign a Telecommunications Franchise Agreement between Clark County and MCI Communications Services LLC to construct, operate and maintain a telecommunications utility system to provide subscription service in certain unincorporated areas of Clark County, Nevada for a term of ten years, with one five-year renewal option; and providing for other matters properly related thereto. Commission District: A, B, E, F & G (For possible action)
