- Consideration of Lea County Ordinance No. 108 - Approving a LEDA Project for the Benefit of Louisiana Energy Services, LLC (the “Company”), Pursuant to the Local Economic Development Act and the Lea County Economic Development Plan; Approving Economic Assistance to the Company for a Portion of the Costs of the Acquisition, Construction, and Improvement of the Expansion of the Company’s Existing Operations within Lea County, New Mexico (the “County”), and Related Infrastructure and Facilities in the County (the “Project”) Using Certain Public Support Identified by the County and the State of New Mexico (the “State”), Including a Portion of the Gross Receipts Tax Revenue Generated by the Construction of the Project; Authorizing the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement, a Project Participation Agreement Among the Company, the State, and the County (the “Agreement”), and Such Other Agreements as Are Necessary or Convenient to Provide the Approved Economic Assistance to the Company; Authorizing the Execution of All Other Necessary Documents; Making Certain Determinations and Findings Relating to the Project; Ratifying Certain Actions Taken Previously; and Repealing All Actions Inconsistent with this Ordinance.
