Emergency Contract 2025-06 Immediate removal of a large number of used tires Purpose: Emergency Declaration E2025-06 is pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-6 and N.J.A.C 5:34-6.1. Notwithstanding a good faith effort by requesting department, the need has arisen for immediate removal of used tires and rubbish from the service yard of the City of Newark to prevent potential health hazards associated with stagnant water accumulation, which could lead to a spread of the West Nile Virus, transmitted by mosquitoes breeding in standing water. Contract Term: March 17, 2025 - June 17, 2025
