Re: Orange Street and First Street rush hour traffic congestion The Governing Body heard testimony from Newark Resident Emily Aikens, regarding the heavier than usual traffic congestion at First Street and Orange Street during rush hour. She commented that since the city changed the traffic light sequence, traffic has become more congested. Governing body is requesting to investigate the traffic flow during rush hour to determine if any changes need to be implemented for a smoother traffic flow.
