- Establish a Public Hearing on October 6, 2026, at 9:30 am to receive public comments on an amendment to Chapter 38 of the Wayne County Code of Ordinances entitled Flood Damage Prevention to require all new residential construction located within FEMA X Zones (Shaded and Unshaded) to be elevated at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade which would include areas located outside the 100-year flood plain and/or floodway.
- Motion to Approve the Abandonment of a Portion of SR1992 (Mt. Olive Airport Road), as requested by NCDOT.
- Motion to Approve a Joint Resolution Between the Wayne County Board of Commissioners and the Wayne County Board of Education in Support of the NC Lottery Public School Needs-Based Grant Application for Brogden Primary School.
