- Closed Session: City Council will enter into closed session under N.C.G.S.§143-318.11(a)(5) to establish, or to instruct the public body’s staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange or lease.
- Approval: ARC Flash Assessment. Staff received Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in an ARC flash assessment of the City’s public utilities facilities. Proposals were received by twenty-five (25) firms. After staff review of the submissions, the highest ranking firm was McGill Associates. The project cost proposal from McGill Associates is $97,500. Staff recommends City Council approve the firm of McGill Associates to conduct ARC flash assessments at the City’s public utilities facilities, as submitted.
