1. Discussion and potential action regarding Vector Control Agreement
2. Authority for Board President and any representative of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office to execute Amended and Restated Food Service Agreement between Rankin County and Summit Food Service, LLC, as successor to Valley Food Service. This agreement provides for preparation and delivery of three meals per day to inmates housed at the Rankin County Jail and the Rankin County Juvenile Detention Facility at a fixed cost per meal. This agreement contemplates adjustments to the cost per meal reflected in the agreement using the results of the United States Department of labor’s Consumer Price Index. The agreement may be terminated upon the giving of thirty days’ notice by either party
3. Authority for Board President and any representative of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office to execute Agreement between Rankin County and PTS Solutions, Inc. to provide software necessary to operate the Computer-Aided Dispatch System, the Record Management System and the Jail Management System required by the Rankin County Jail and the Rankin County Juvenile Detention Facility. This agreement covers an initial term beginning October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The agreement will not require Rankin County to incur costs or expenses associated with the agreement, with the exception of an initial installment payment of 50% of the software product suite ($16,250) which shall be paid within 30 days of the signing of the agreement. The agreement is subject to termination upon notice of either party and failure to cure within thirty days. Authority of County Administrator to issue check
4. Request approval of Contractual Agreement between Rankin County and Deanco Auctions to sell a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 on July 22^nd, 2026, in Philadelphia, MS
5. Authority for Board President and any representative of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office to execute Agreement between Rankin County and City Tele-Coin Company, Inc. to provide inmate telecommunications services at the Rankin County Jail and the Rankin County Juvenile Detention Facility. This agreement covers a term of 24 months and provides that Rankin County will incur no costs related to the services being provided
6. Approval of agreement with CSpire to provide additional circuits at 165 Metropolitan Lane and 483 East Mark Drive at an additional monthly cost of $350.00 and authority for Board President to execute documents
7. Authority for Rankin County Sheriff to execute Grant Agreement between Rankin County Animal Shelter and Best Friends Animal Society whereby Best Friends provides Rankin County Animal Shelter with $15,000 in grant funding for use in enhancing feline life-saving activities at the Rankin County Animal Shelter. There is no cost to Rankin County to participate in this grant opportunity
8. Consideration of, and potential action to authorize acceptance of, proposal made by Revize Government Website Company for overhaul of Rankin County’s website. Proposal calls for significant updates and changes to the existing county website to include better and more obvious access to information and to include available features such as Calendar of Events, E-Notification Modules, On-Line Payment Portal, Facilities Reservations, News Center with Facebook/Twitter Integration, Emergency Alerts, Online Forms / Survey Tools, E-Newsletter Applications, Job Posting and Tracking Module, Public Records Request Tracker, and other features that are customizable. The cost of the re-working of the website can be accommodated through three annual installments of $22,917.00 at no interest. The cost of ongoing website hosting, support and maintenance of the website thereafter will be $14,500 per year. The decision to accept this proposal, if authorized, will be contingent upon the review and approval by the Board Attorney of the engagement agreement to be negotiated between the county and Revize Government Website Company
9. Petitions for change of assessment on 2025 Real Property Assessments
10. Acknowledgement of receipt of Court Order for Remission of Bond from JNW Bonding FCS in the amount of $4,870.00 for forfeiture of bond and authority to issue check to JNW Bonding FCS
11. Acknowledgement of Court Order Appointing Dana Gordon as temporary Court Reporter for Chancery Court on June 16 & July 1, 2026, and authority to issue check in the amount of $590.00 for the daily court appearance fee
