- Discussion of, and potential action, to provide for specific finding that changes or modifications to the original contract (for demolition of the old Marquette Cement Facility) between Rankin County, Mississippi, and 2B Dirt & Contracting, LLC, are necessary and would better serve the purpose of Rankin County by allowing the Rankin County Road Department to receive possession of the rubble generated by the demolition activities at a greatly reduced cost. The Rankin County Board of Supervisors issues a finding that such change and/or modification to the demolition contract are necessary under the circumstances without the necessity of further public bids. The Rankin County Board of Supervisors specifically finds that such changes or modifications to the original demolition contract are made in a commercially reasonable manner and are not made to circumvent the public purchasing statutes. The terms of the modification to the original demolition contract are as follows: The contractor will crush, deliver, and stockpile demolished concrete at a rate of $20.00 per ton. The crushed concrete shall be per Section 703.04.3 of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Mississippi Department of Transportation, Jackson, 2017 Edition. The required gradation shall be size no. 825 B. Basis of Measurement will be by the ton. Basis of Payment will Include supplying, hauling, and stockpiling of crushed concrete. The testing shall be per section 304 of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Mississippi Department of Transportation, Jackson, 2017 Edition. Stockpile location will be requested by the contractor and will require approval of the owner
- Authority for the Board Attorney to make contact with the developer of Clark Creek Farms Subdivision in order to put the developer on notice that the base repairs are required and the wearing surface needs to be installed

- Approval of Order Ratifying and Confirming Appointment pf Corey Gerber as Assistant County Prosecuting Attorney for Rankin County for the purposes of handling delinquency cases through the County Prosecutor's Office, in addition to his existing title and position as Youth Court Prosecutor
- Authority to approve two legislative priorities for the 2027 Legislative Session, which include amendments to the recently passed Youth Court law and an amendment to the appropriate statute that addresses county expenditure of funds to maintain or improve a privately owned polling place
