1. Motion to acknowledge the fully executed grant agreement and reimbursement packet for Select Site Grant SDG-S-038 for the Pearl River County Industrial Park.
2. Motion to authorize the signing of an Easement Agreement between the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department and Roserock Holdings, LLC, granting the Sheriff’s Department access to install, operate, maintain, repair, replace, and remove a utility pole, automatic license plate reader, and related communications equipment and appurtenances (collectively referred to as the “Equipment”) within the designated Easement Area near the Love's Travel Center.
3. Motion to approve the contract between Tax Collector/Assessor and JenCo LLC for consultation.
4. Motion to authorize the Board President to sign the contract with Avaya Cloud Office by Ring Central for the new phone system.
5. Motion to acknowledge and accept the bids and proof of publication for the janitorial services of the following county buildings:Courthouse, Courthouse Annex, DHS/Justice Court, Chimney Square, County Administration and Purchasing. Award the following bids to the best and lowest bidder as follows:Award the Chimney Square Building to Dragon Commercial Building Service in the amount of $1,900.00 per month.Award the DHS/Justice Court Building to Spotless Care Cleaning Solutions, LLC in the amount of $1,250.00 per month.Award the Courthouse Annex Building to Coastal Building Services LLC in the amount of $2,325.00 per month.Award the Administration Building to Coastal Building Services LLC in the amount of $385.00 per month.Award the Purchasing Building to Coastal Building Services LLC in the amount of $225.00 per month.<br>Award the Courthouse to Coastal Building Services LLC in the amount of $1,425.00 as the "best bid" due to prior experience with Ourso Enterprise of Jani King on their previous contract.All awards will become effective with a start date of January 1, 2026.
6. Motion to acknowledge the renewal of the official bond and oath of Purchase Clerk, Amaleshia Napier, beginning September 15th, 2025, through September 15th, 2026.
7. Discuss Pearl River County Fire & Rescue Emergency Vehicle Driver Medical Screening, as recommended by the insurance carrier (VFIS) during the annual risk assessment prior to policy renewal.
8. Motion to authorize the Board President to sign Pearl River County School District 16th Section Lands Amendment of Lease for Salem Walking Track and issue payment.
9. Motion to approve an amendment to the Pearl River County Personnel Policy to include revisions to the Paid Parental Leave policy, aligning the county’s policy with the State of Mississippi standards and provisions set forth in House Bill No. 1063 of the 2025 Legislative Session.
