- Motion to approve the purchase of a Nissan Altima from Eddie Torelle's Northpark Nissan, LLC as the best quote available. The tax office had previously been approved to purchase the vehicle from the State Contract Dealer, but the vehicle would not be available for six to eight months. The tax office obtained quotes from Nissan of Picayune and Eddie Torelle's Northpark Nissan. Eddie Torelle's quote was determined to be the best option for the following reasons. Before the purchase order was able to be approved and issued, the quoted vehicle was sold. However, they did have another vehicle in stock that was a little higher than the quoted car. The decision was made to purchase the vehicle at the higher price due to the availability of the cars, as Nissan of Picayune did not have one available. Be it further ordered to issue payment to Eddie Torelle's Northpark Nissan. LLC upon receipt of the vehicle.
