1. Motion to acknowledge the renewal of the official bond and oath of Charlie Schielder, County Road Manager for the term of August 6, 2026, through August 6, 2027.
2. Motion to acknowledge the renewal of the official bond and oath of Deputy Tax Collector, Sarah Lee, for the term of August 24, 2026, through August 24, 2027.
3. Motion to authorize the purchase of 2 sets of Turnout Gear on MS State Contract #8200084634 and #8200084635.
4. Motion to accept the quotes for the License Plate Reader (LPR) and issue a purchase order to Motorola Solutions for $74,999.00 for the lowest and best quote.
5. Motion to authorize the purchase of five (5) DS200 Scanners in the amount of $27,502.40 to replace the five (5) machines damaged by water on or about June 18, 2026. ES&S is the sole source provider for this equipment.
6. Motion to approve the purchase of a 2026 T-350 LR Transit Passenger Van from Mac Haik Ford in the amount of $56,500.00 as the best and lowest quote.
7. Motion to award the purchase of a P395 Paver from Puckett Caterpillar for the best and lowest quote in the amount of $344,566.90 from bids received on July 22, 2026.
8. Motion to award the purchase of an 18' Trim EX Limb Saw for boom mower from Parish Tractor for lowest and best quote of $13,000.00. Second-best quote was Limb Buster at $14,760.00
9. Motion to approve Contractor Pay Application No. 5 and the associated change order for Technology Park Phase 1, and authorize the issuance of a check in the amount of $4,500.32 to John C. Lee Enterprises Limited, LLC.
10. The President called the meeting back into order at 1:30 p.m.
11. Motion to acknowledge Order Appointing and Setting Salary for Official Court Reporter (Brianna Pounds) dated July 21, 2026, nunc pro tunc on May 15, 2026.
12. Motion to approve updates to the road paving list and paving order of completion and acknowledge the monthly paving report for July 2026.
13. Motion to acknowledge the Appointment and Oath of Office of Jaxon Dunaway, Deputy Circuit Clerk, dated July 27, 2026, and Order Approving Appointment of Deputy Circuit Clerk dated July 28, 2026.
14. Motion to enter executive session to discuss matters covered under 25-41-7 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, items covered under Section 4(a) Transaction of business of personnel matters relating to the job performance, character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of a person holding a specific position; 4(b) Strategy sessions or negotiations with respect to prospective litigation, litigation or issuance of an appealable order when an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body; 4(j) Transaction of business and discussions or negotiations regarding the location, relocation or expansion of a business or an industry.

19. Motion to authorize the Refund Request for Permit # 2026-0196 in the amount of $172.50.
20. Motion to acknowledge receipt of Tax Objections to the 2026 Tax Assessment Rolls.
21. Motion to authorize the Board President to execute all documentation for the Office of The State Auditor for provision of audit services to Pearl River County for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025.
22. Motion to acknowledge the update of Grants and other billings for various departments from Katie Johnson and approve holding a Household Hazardous Waste Day on November 7, 2026, at the parking lot of the Pearl River County Health Department.
23. Motion to approve issuance of check in the amount of $12,865.00 to Jasper County Sheriff's Office in reference to Asset ID: 22-DEA-691227 Case No: KU-22-0048.
24. Presentation of the completed Poplarville/Pearl River County Airport Advancement Plan from Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District.
25. Motion to approve the hiring of Gavin Lee in the buildings and grounds department effective August 3, 2026.
26. Motion to accept the resignation of Caleb Kinchen as full-time dump truck driver. His last day at work will be July 28th, 2026.
27. Motion to approve Amendment #8 between Pearl River County Sheriff's Office and Summit Food Service, LLC regarding inmate meals.

29. Motion to award the bid to Flock Safety as the lowest and best bid that meets all bid requirements and specifications for the License Plate Reader (LPR) Camera System for the Pearl River County Sheriff's Office as advertised from May 27 through June 3, 2026, notwithstanding that its bid was not the lowest submitted.
