- Approve Supplemental Agreement No. 5 with Walters Construction Company, Inc., for the State Aide-EDH Highway 49 (Project No. DECD-0018(35)BO) to add 12 days to the contract; and authorize the Mayor to execute the same.
- Approve Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Clarion Associates, LLC, for the Hattiesburg Comprehensive Plan (Hattiesburg 150) to increase the cost by $5,564 (bringing the total to $227,877), and to add two months to the contract, and authorize the mayor to execute the same.
- Approve amendment to the agreement between the City of Hattiesburg and Marlow, LLC., adopted September 6, 2022, at minute book # 2021-544, amending Paragraph 2 to reflect an annual payment schedule rather than monthly and revise rental adjustment method to inflationary for years 4 and 5. Authorize the Mayor to execute the same.
- Adopt an Ordinance to approve a text amendment to the Hattiesburg Land Development Code (Ordinance 3209, as amended) to allow Accessory Dwelling Units as a conditional use (LDC Table 5.1). The Planning Commission recommended approval at its meeting on December 3, 2025.
- Adopt an Ordinance approving a text amendment to the Hattiesburg Land Development Code (Ord. 3902, as amended) to allow Mixed-Use as a conditional use in R-3 zoning (LDC 5.1) and to include “cafes/coffee shops” as an accessory use to “Place of Assembly” (LDC 5.4.30.2). The Planning Commission recommended approval with the added condition of establishing a definition for “cafe/coffee shop” at its meeting on December 3, 2025.
- Acknowledge receipt of term bids for Demolition Services on December 4, 2025 and award bid to MSP Enterprises LLC as the contractor for the term of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
- Acknowledge receipt of term bids for Lot Clearing/Grass Cutting Services on December 4, 2025 and award bid to Sunshine Construction as the primary contractor and Terry’s Backhoe and Tree Service as the alternate contractor for the term of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
