1. Acknowledge receipt of closing documents for the McLeod Street Bridge Repair project, approve Supplemental Agreement No. 1 increasing contract amount by $46,720.50 for a total of $162,115.50 and authorize the mayor to execute it, approve payment of contractor's final pay application, approve final acceptance of the project, and authorize publication of Notice of Final Settlement.
2. Approve Joint-Funding Agreement for the period of October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027 to continue the cooperative program between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the City of Hattiesburg for the operation and maintenance of the Bouie River Flood Monitoring Site at Glendale Avenue, and for hydrologic modeling and development of inundation maps for the Leaf River, with total cost to the City of $8,190.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute in duplicate.
3. Approve two-quote purchase to replace roof of Jaycee Park Concession, Press Box and Bleachers at 301 Lurty Avenue and award to Gable Roofing, LLC in the amount of $26,483.20.
4. Approve the City's purchase of (8) grave spaces, located in Section 32, Lot 11 of the East Half (E1/2) and Section 32 lot 6 of the East Half (E1/2) at Highland Cemetery, in the amount of $1,400.00 from Charles or Susan Burnes, Authorize manual check for the same.
5. Approve the city's purchase of (2) grave spaces, located in Section 39, Lot 24 in the North Half (N1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) and North Half (N1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) at Highland Cemetery, in the amount of $350.00 from Johnny L. DuPree, Authorize manual check for the same.
6. Acknowledge receipt of the Two-Quote Docket.
7. Acknowledge receipt of the Privilege Tax License Report for the month of August 2026.
8. Authorize the acceptance of award from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety Project Safe Neighborhoods Program in the amount of $20,178.
9. Approve the sale of grave spaces per attached receipts.
10. Adopt the September 8th, 2026 Amendments to the budget for the City of Hattiesburg for fiscal year ending September 30, 2026 and adopt Resolution authorizing publication for funds in excess of 10% of the originally appropriated fund balance.
11. Approve Letter of Engagement with Topp McWhorter Harvey PLLC to audit the financial statements of the City of Hattiesburg for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026 and authorize the Council President to execute the same.
12. Approve Specifications and Authorize publication of an advertisement for term bid #2, repair and rehab of city streets and term bid 23, Polyerethane Foam Services for Public Services.
13. Approve the minutes for the August 3, 4, 17 & 18, 2026 meetings of the City Council.
