The Board discussed the following items: a) Supervisor Ladner reported on a meeting being held July 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Hospitality Auditorium, hosted by Congressman Mike Ezell, Water Resources Roundtable on the Future of the Mississippi Sound. b) Supervisor Powers reported several complaints received about the homeless camp getting into the gated section between the Harrison County Library and St. John Catholic Church. Pat Sullivan, Fire Chief addressed the issue with the Library and the Library will keep the gates locked at all times. c) Troy Peterson, County Administrator, reported that AT&T will start replacing copper lines, and will start at the jail, then the courthouse, at no cost to the county.
