Matt Stratton, Director of EMA, reported the following regarding Tropical Depression #2: a) The EMA office is partially activated. If conditions change or additional information warrants, the office will move to full activation. b) Sandbags are available at the Road Department. Residents may pick them up and fill them as needed. c) Current forecasts indicate that Tropical Depression #2 is expected to bring more wind than rain to our area, with most of the rainfall projected to remain offshore. d) At this time, there are no plans to activate storm shelters or issue evacuation orders. e) Tropical Depression #2 is expected to reach our area on Wednesday morning.
