Sheriff Haley reported that 853 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 286 state inmates, 9 federal inmates, 87 inmates awaiting transfer to a state facility, 8 juveniles housed at the Adult Detention Center, and 16 juveniles housed at the Juvenile Detention Center and 15 Harrison County juveniles.
