The Board discussed the following items: a) Supervisor Jones invited the Board to attend the Daniel “Kent” Jones Community Sports Zone ribbon-cutting ceremony, scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m. b) Supervisor Powers reported that a resident inquired about how to apply for a tax abatement. She also asked about the status of the GMC contract approved at the April 6, 2026 meeting; the contract is currently in the process of being signed by the vendor. c) Tim Hollmen, Legal Counsel, reported that in the litigation matter styled Vaughn vs. Harrison County, Reverend Vaughn has indicated that he is being represented by the ACLU.
