The Board discussed the following items: a) Supervisor Barrett reported on his Washington DC trip, meetings went well and hopefully some commitments will come through this year or next. Also attended some events with Julia Richardson at the National Association of Veterans Affairs Conference. b) Supervisor Cuevas reported on the passing of Sarah Miller and Quentin Lyons, asking for prayers for their families. c) Supervisor Ladner asked for an update on the Long Beach Library system. The Board Attorney stated a draft of the agreement has been sent to the City Attorney and we are waiting on action from the City. d) Sheriff Haley reported at least 10 block cameras need replacing, the Sheriff will contact the Code Office and Engineering to find replacement locations.
