Jennifer Smith appeared before the Board to discuss damages sustained to her vehicle from an incident on March 11, 2026, involving a county vehicle with an attached trailer. The operator of the county vehicle backed into Ms. Smith's parked vehicle at the Election Commission on Highway 49, Gulfport, Mississippi. Upon review, it was determined that Ms. Jennifer Smith was not at fault. After full discussion, the Board adopted an ORDER approving the payment of $1,523.59 to Gentry's Auto Body for repairs to Ms. Smith's vehicle and authorizing payment of the repairs based on the lower of two quotes obtained, minus any taxes quoted for vehicle repairs.
