ORDER amending the agenda for Item #43, File Number 26-0339, and approving travel as listed: a) Allen Sekinger, Fire Fighter, to attend MSFA, FIRST Class, in Pearl, Mississippi, April 19-23, 2026, rooms are provided along with breakfast and lunch, dinner on own and travel with county vehicle. b) Margaret Goetz, Youth Court JIC Peer Support Specialist, to attend Annual Peer Conference held by the Association of Mississippi Peer Support Specialists in Jackson, MS May 27-29, 2026. Lunch and breaks included in Registration Fees. Travel in personal vehicles to be reimbursed. Payable from account 030-194, total estimate for travel $816.00, money within budget. c) Gracie Daniels, Margaret Goetz, Danelle Windham, Abby Zink, Tiffany Gele, Catelyn Williams, Denee Wilkerson, and Brian Henrie, Youth Court’s Intervention Court to attend The Behavioral Health Summit at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi from April 21-24, 2026. Staff will be commuting daily. All lunches and breaks are covered in registration fees. Registration fees and mileage are within budgets and payable from accounts 001-030-194 total $732.00, 001-012-177 total $1,048, and 001-012-191 total $1,680.00 (see attached breakdown of cost). d) Judge Dickinson, Youth Court and Valeri Underwood, Court Administrator, to attend a training sponsored by New Allies as part of the Mississippi Youth Court Institute, a collaboration with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ). Training is May 14-15, 2026 at the Westin Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. Lodging is covered by New Allies. Meals and mileage within budget and payable by account 001-164.
