Greg Whitfield, Director of the Fairgrounds, provided an update on upcoming events and operations. The Fairgrounds Facebook page now has more than 17,000 followers, and 48 events have already been booked for 2026. Scheduled events include the NBHA Barrel Race, Winter Blast Barrel Race, PRCA Pro Rodeo, and CBR Barrel Race. RV sites will be available this year for Cruisin’ the Coast. Mr. Whitfield expressed his appreciation to the Board, the Sheriff’s Department, the County Administrator, and Fire Services for their continued support.
