Jaclyn Turner, County engineer, and Trey McKnight, Sand Beach Director, reported issues with the boardwalk at the Biloxi Lighthouse. The boardwalk in this area has sunk lower, in sections, than the sand and has become a hazard to the public. After full discussion, the Board adopted an ORDER declaring an emergency and authorizing the County Engineer to solicit quotes to replace the boardwalk at the Biloxi Lighthouse.
