ORDER authorizing the purchase of candy or treats to be provided to children attending the Trunk or Treat program at the Fairgrounds as such will promote and advertise the resources of the county and specifically bring the public to the fairgrounds for purpose of advertising and bringing into favorable notice the opportunities, possibilities and resources of the County Fairgrounds; and, in addition, the Board finds that Trunk or Treat program at the Fairgrounds keeps children safe by keeping them off the streets and safely providing them recreational services, including unadulterated “candy” in a safe environment thereby reducing the strain on law enforcement and other safety services which will be helpful toward advancing the morale, financial and other interests of such municipality or county. Event is Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Purchase limit not to exceed $10,000.00, payable from 001-522-695.
