Chief Craig Necaise reported that 823 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 92 misdemeanants, 176 state inmates, 11 federal inmates, 58 inmates awaiting transfer to a state facility, 13 juveniles housed at the Adult Detention Center, and 10 juveniles housed at the Juvenile Detention Center, of which 1 is from Hancock County, 1 is from Stone County and 8 from Harrison County.
