Sheriff Haley reported that 796 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 100 misdemeanants, 170 state inmates, 15 federal inmates, 47 inmates awaiting transfer to a state facility, 13 juveniles housed at the Adult Detention Center, and 11 juveniles housed at the Juvenile Detention Center, of which 9 are from Harrison County and 2 from Hancock County.
