The Sheriff reported that 800 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 204 state inmates, 9 federal inmates, 68 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility, 15 juveniles at the Adult Detention Center, and 13 juveniles in the Juvenile Detention Center with 12 individuals being from Harrison County and 1 being from Hancock County.
