Chief Craig Necaise reported that 791 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 92 misdemeanants, 168 state inmates, 12 federal inmates, 54 inmates awaiting transfer to a state facility, 14 juveniles housed at the Adult Detention Center, and nine juveniles housed at the Juvenile Detention Center of which eight are from Harrison County and one from Hancock County.
