The Sheriff reported that 800 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 71 misdemeanors, 167 state inmates, 18 federal inmates, 75 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility, 16 juveniles at the Adult Detention Center, and 10 juveniles in the Juvenile Detention Center with all individuals being from Harrison County.
