The Sheriff reported that 797 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 68 misdemeanors, 122 state inmates, 38 federal inmates, 14 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility, 19 juveniles at the Adult Detention Center, and 10 juveniles at the Juvenile Detention Center with nine individuals being from Harrison County and one individual from Hancock County.
