Bill Williams, representing the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS), appeared before the Board seeking guidance on the potential use of an updated property appraisal as part of a comprehensive overview for a possible future request to transfer the property out of the 99-year lease. The Board discussed and concurred that it would be beneficial for IMMS to obtain an up-to-date appraisal of the 20-acre parcel in question. Further discussion will take place upon completion of the appraisal and subsequent approval by the Harrison County Development Commission.
