The Sheriff reported that 789 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 79 misdemeanors, 224 state inmates, 13 federal inmates, 26 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility, 18 juveniles at the Adult Detention Center, and 16 in Juvenile Detention, with 15 from Harrison County and one from Hancock County.
