The Sheriff reported that 809 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. This number is comprised of 106 misdemeanors, 251 state inmates, 12 federal inmates, 78 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility, 16 juveniles in Adult Detention Center, and 17 in Juvenile Detention, with 16 from Harrison County and one from Hancock County.
