Donovan Scruggs with Town Planning and Consulting, LLC appeared before the Board to present proposed updates to the zoning districts that would provide sub-categories to the existing Districts: A-1 (agricultural), E-1 (estate) and R-1( low density residential), as well as more detailed approval procedures as per attachments. The Board also took under consideration comments and suggestions from the public. Before this could be implemented it would need to be reviewed by the Planning Commission and public hearings will need to be held for comments. The Board President requested Mr. Scruggs to provide an estimate of additional time and expenses needed to conclude the short term review and amendments to the land use regulations that have already exceeded the original estimate of $25,000.00.
